Funds Raised for San Francisco Ministry Plant

The funds for the campus ministry plant in San Francisco have been raised, and God's fingerprints are to be found everywhere! An enormous amount of money has been pledged, and what many have said would be an impossible task to accomplish has proven to indeed be possible when God's people come together with winning souls in mind. Should we be surprised? Maybe not, but I certainly still am!

Thank you to all our friends and supporters who are making this work possible. If you'd like to stay up to date with the processes involved in this ministry plant, check out the San Francisco ministry plant blog.

In other news, there've been rumblings of an upcoming campus ministry plant in Corpus Christi, TX. More news on that in the future.

CMU to Partner with Harding University in Providing Ministry Training

Campus Ministry United recently partnered with Harding University's Center for Advanced Ministry Training to provide effective teaching for tomorrow's campus ministers and ministry planters.

Releasable details are scarce at this point, although I can say programs and courses specific to campus ministry are currently in the early stages of development. These courses will involve students working in apprenticeships within selected ministries around the country. The bulk of the student's training will come from doing - not simply listening to someone talk about doing.

For-credit and non-credit tracts will be available to meet the needs of different students.

Needless to say, a program of this kind is cause for excitement! More details to come in the future - please keep this work in your prayers.
