2009 CMU Workshop

After a thirty year struggle with his own sexual sin, David Weidner, in desperation, committed to God that he would do “whatever it takes” to be pure. Now, six years later, God has not only blessed David with great victories, but has also used him to bring inspiration and instruction to others. David exercises his passion to help men live in purity by leading recovery groups and conducting “Pure in Heart” seminars. With clarity and candor about his own battle, David brings fresh hope to men who long to restore their personal purity. After graduating with a degree in Biblical Languages, David and his wife, Robin, served in the full time ministry for ten years. He has spent the last fifteen years working in the pharmaceutical industry. He is presently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Psychology and writing a book on sexual purity. David enjoys traveling with his wife and helping her with the Secure in Heart ministry. They have been married for 27 years and have three children. David also enjoys sports and taking walks with his black lab, Mojo.
